It will prevent spam, viruses, malware and inappropriate materials (e.g. Pornographic Images) from entering your network and similarly will prevent sensitive material such as child specific information from leaving the network. MYmailSAFE is completely customizable allowing you to configure the system to match your acceptable use policy; it is simple to set up differential policies for staff.

Policy Management
In today's public body environment corporate governance is becoming increasingly important adding to the already heavy burden of Human Resources Departments.

MYuserPOLICY is a software solution that allows organisations effectively create and manage Corporate Internet & email Appropriate Use Policy. With MYuserPOLICY, organisations can adapt existing Acceptable Use Policies (hereafter referred to as AUPs) or create and deploy a new (or updated) policy with just a few mouse clicks. The software eliminates cumbersome handbooks and easy-to-lose paper updates.

MYuserPOLICY automatically detects employees as they log-in to their PCs - enabling policy managers to proactively 'push' policy to users as they access the organisation's network. When MYuserPOLICY detects that a system user is not fully up-to-date with policy, the new information is automatically presented to the employee in a form that cannot be deleted or ignored.

MYuserPOLICY increases the effectiveness of policies by checking that the information is read and understood before the employee is granted network access. Policy acceptance can be assessed through the use of carefully structured questions, which are attached to policies. In order to answer the questions correctly, the user must have fully read and understood the policy.

The acceptance of a policy is the employee's declaration that they agree to abide by that policy. The system can be configured to deny or modify access to those who do not agree to comply with a policy or demonstrate a real understanding of its terms.
